A LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE (2010)

This is my very first favorite Thai movie!

Because today is the birthday of the main actor of the movie (Mario Maurer) -- who became my FIRST favorite Thai actor (oh, he is really astoundingly nerve-wrecking handsome!), I thought of writing a blog about the movie.

What I like about the movie is its realism. With "realism", I meant that it can really touch the heart of the viewers who can relate to the stories of "first love" and "puppy love".

Have you kept cans or candy wrappers or papers or other things considered as "trash" just because your crush gave those to you?
Have you tried going to the school corridors just to see your crush passing by?
Have you made a call to your crush (without any purpose at all) just to hear his/her voice?
Have you read the horoscope everyday just to see if your zodiac signs match?

Well.. well.. well..
if you answered "yes" to at least one of my questions (which means that once in your life, you actually became a "normal person" who is crazy about love) --- then I'm so sure that you can relate to this movie!

So try watching it now :)

And meet my Thai "love": MARIO MAURER

Just by looking, he can melt any girl's heart away.

THE LITTLE PRINCE (by Antoine de Saint-Exupery)

A story narrated by a man who crashed the plane he was steering into the middle of the dessert. He was mending his plane when he was suddenly interrupted by a little boy who came out of nowhere. Then the boy, whom he later discovered was a prince of a distant planet, asked him to draw a sheep. That was the start of their profound friendship and the prince began sharing about his adventure of finding a friend and his pursuit of seeking answers to his queries about life.

The aspects I love most about the book are the significant messages which the reader can ponder upon.

The prince and the man finally understood what is truly important in life. And that is love. While we are alive, what really matters is caring about someone or something, fulfilling the confidence given to you and nourishing the relationship made.

The prince cherished and loved a flower which he had been keeping in a glass cover. This made me realize that the object of love is not important. What matters is that there is love and a commitment to guard it forever.
